Stock up: Centennial
When you win by 62 points you’re going to be at the top of my buy list. Centennial has
continued to run through their new 5A schedule, their marquee matchup with Brentwood has all
my attention this Friday.
Stock up: Brentwood
Ugly win over a Franklin Admirals team that’s as low as its been since the school opened.
These last few weeks Brentwood has played teams they quite frankly should be boat-racing,
they haven’t been able to do that. This, to me has made this matchup with Centennial a real
toss-up. We’ll see if the Bruins are legit this Friday
Stock up: Nolensville
9-1 is looking like a real possibility for the Knights. This team has surprised me and I’ve been
very impressed with this team being able to keep their elite status after losing a ton of
production last season. I’m buying the Knights down the stretch.
Stock down: Franklin
There’s no word better to describe this situation than train wreck. After a 1-26 stint, Franklin fired
head coach Alex Melton this week. This team plays on a Thursday against Ravenwood this
week, I’d imagine this will be an 0-9 football team heading into their week 10 matchup against
Overton. This season has been another dud from the Admirals. We’ll see if their new coach can
right the Flagship, but all signs indicate that this job is going to be extr
