Halfway through the regular season and so far, the football in Williamson County hasn’t disappointed. Here’s who I’m buying and selling after week 5 in Williamson County.

Stock Up: Brentwood: I thought the Bruins would handle Summit. They did on one side of the ball. The defense pitched a shutout and held the Spartans to nothing on offense. If that offense can step it up, this team will be super dangerous going forward.

Stock Up: Nolensville: 5-0 through 5, can’t get much better than that. Nolensville’s offense has been fantastic to this point. I’m really starting to buy into this group as we head down the stretch.

Stock up: Centennial: Nobody’s ever going to complain about a 35-point shutout victory especially when it comes against a district opponent. I’m starting to really like the outlook for the Cougars in their district this year for all those reasons, I’m in on Centennial.

Stock up: Franklin: I’m picking the Admirals to upset the Summit Spartans this week. The win column has eluded the Ads for nearly 24 months. With that, I think this team has looked solid to start the year and if they can clean up their 4th quarter miscues, I see them pulling off the district win against the Spartans Friday night.

Stock down: Summit: I am not moved, nor have I been moved with the Spartans this season. As I previously mentioned, I have them losing to the 0-4 Franklin Admirals in a key district game that could decide the final seed of the playoffs. As of now I’m selling the Spartans and will take Franklin in an upset this week.
