From the start of this game, the Green Wave looked to be in charge as the ran the opening kick-off back with a 94 yard return for touchdown. The Buccaneers regrouped after that and didn’t let up. They ended up scoring on their next two drives, taking a 14-7 lead after one quarter. The second quarter ended with Beech scoring two more touchdowns to take a 28-7 lead into halftime.
Beech received the opening kickoff in the second half and ended up scoring on that drive to take a four-touchdown lead. Gallatin had no answer for the rushing attack that Beech was handing them. The Green Wave ended up scoring later in the third quarter to cut into that lead Beech had over them. Beech ended up scoring one more touchdown on a pick-six in the fourth quarter as they win 49-17.
Buccaneer Quarterback Jackson was 5 for 5 for 142 yards and two touchdowns. Patrick Hill had 20 carries for 201 yards rushing with our scores while Erin Jolley had two receptions for 112 yards.
Beech’s Running Back Patrick Hill said,” I’m feeling good, and it just takes preparation, like coach said they are going to have big plays and they are going to play hard so, we just came out played physical.” Beech is now (3-1) in their region and (6-2) and they will face Brentwood next week on the road while the Gallatin (3-5) will face Lebanon on the road as well
