If you like scoring, you loved Saturday’s games. 240 points in just 3 games. That’s 80 points a game and the winners averaged 57 points a game and the losers 23. Two of the most dominate teams in TSSAA history, Alcoa and Oakland continued to excel. Alcoa has now won 11 in a row and Oakland has won 5 out of the last 6 and they did it in Class 6A. When will we see Alcoa competing in Class 6A? They certainly belong there. Great accomplishments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the season comes to a close and we begin to start thinking about next year, tThe main qustion is how do we get more competitve games and less blowouts? Has the one time transfer rule just helped the mighty. Most importantaly where do we go from here? Thats alot to consider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But that’s for next year. Now we congraduate the winners and losers on great seasons. There’s over 300 other schools who would have loved to have played this weekend. What we saw was the best of the best. What I appreciated the most were the many examples of true sponrtsmanship from all the schools. Good job coaches and players.
