When high school football season comes around it is especially exciting. Each week I will bourse the scores to see what stands out to me. Here are  some week 1 surprises:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Alcoa 28 Maryville 21- This Game never disappoints.<\/li><li>Upperman 29 Knox Webb 7- I really thought this would be a close game. The Bees are stinging again.<\/li><li>Antioch 24 Mt Juliet 2- Great start for Coach Broome.<\/li><li>Cannon County 31 Monterey 0. Cannon County continue their upward move.<\/li><li>Franklin 20 LaVergne 0- Good start for the Admirals.<\/li><li>Green Hill 38 Beech 21. Is this Green Hill&#8217;s year to go deep in the playoffs.<\/li><li>Knox Catholic 20 Riverdale 6- The size of the victory is what is surprising.<\/li><li>Lincoln County 21 Marshall Co 20- Could Lincoln County be back?<\/li><li>Providence Christian 28 Eagleville 21- A big win for upstart Providence.<\/li><li>Dyer County 35 Dyersburg 34. What a game for this tense rivalry.<\/li><li>Huntingdon 41 McKensie 21- I thought it would be much closer.<\/li><li>Southwind 42 Lausanne 10.
