Another banner week for football in the Midstate. This week, I\u2019m back with the 3rd edition of the \u201cWilliamson County Stock Report.\u201d Here are my takeaways from the 3rd week of football in Williamson County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stock up: Brentwood: The Bruins are asserting themselves as clear threats in 6A. With a 43-6 trouncing of a prior 2-0 Hendersonville Commandos, the Bruins are my clear favorite for the region. With Henry County up next, I struggle to see any other outcome than another Bruin statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stock up: Page: I assumed this game would be close, as the last few matchups between the Franklin Admirals and Page Patriots have been close calls, but after being down 17-7 at half, Page rallied for a commanding victory over Franklin 35-17. With the Patriots back in the win column my view shifts to their matchup with new district foe, Centennial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stock up: Centennial: The Cougars knocked off a tough Independence team in OT last week. As I look at the schedule, I\u2019ll be interested to see how the Cougars finish down the stretch with plenty of tough matchups ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stock up: Nolensville: A Thursday night victory propelled the Knights to a 3-0 record. With everything clicking I\u2019m very interested to see the Knights matchup with a powerful Centennial offense in a couple weeks. I\u2019ve been pleasantly surprised with Nolensville\u2019s production this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stock Down: Franklin: With a difficult loss to Page, the Admirals land themselves in my stock down section. The late game operation for the admirals has me concerned going forward. With a tough matchup with Independence on the horizon, it\u2019ll be interesting to see how this group bounces back.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
