The Prep Weekly Top 5 in each classification had a few new additions this week but by now we all know who the power teams are in each classification. The larger Division l classes remain dominated by East and Middle area teams while the West owns the Lower classifications with 9 teams out of 18 slots. Middle Tennessee owns the Division ll rankings with 9 of the top 15 teams. Overall, there are 18 Middle Tennessee teams in the rankings while the East has 12 and the West has 15. Of course, population drives this and the fact there are so many private schools in the Nashville Area is huge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking of Division ll, what a huge weekend. The best schedule we have seen for one week in years including Balor and MBA; Brentwood Academy and Ensworth; Lipscomb and CPA and Chattanooga Christian and Knox Webb all battling for first place in their regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
