The first round of the playoffs is in the books and it was one to remember.  The first-round match-up in Murfreesboro was a runaway game from the start.  Riverdale took the opening kickoff and drove to mid field when Tristan Lewis threw an interception and that’s when Riverdale took over.  Riverdale scored six touchdowns, two by each of their running backs Brandon Connard and Marcus Lloyd while Jameis Halcomb threw for two scores to add to the total.  The Warriors ran all over the Wildcats on their home turf ending their season. The Warriors advance to the second round where they will travel to Hendersonville for a big game next Friday night.

Riverdale had all the game highlights, The Warriors Quarterback Jameis Halcomb was 16/18 for 210 yards and two touchdowns.  Marcus Lloyd rushed 10 times for 84 yards and two touchdowns while D’Andrew Donaldson had four catches for 55 yards and one touchdown.

Riverdale’s  Halcomb said,” we just got guys knowing what they’re doing and it’s so far in the season that we’re firing on all cylinders and the defense puts up a goose egg like that you don’t got to do much. It feels good,
