We constantly get asked why we don’t publish polls after the playoffs begin. The answer is easy. THEY MEAN NOTHING! The teams are making their own polls.
I weekly read polls from all over the state. They are just the same thing week after week and when their top teams lose they just put those teams out of their top four and move the victor up. The best 4 teams are playing this Friday in the semifinals. NO Questions Asked. They deserve it because they earned it.
Yes we will have a post season poll but it will show the state champion as number one. The kids did the work and deserved it. Let’s don’t get all excited about polls but about the hard work that these teams put in to getting where the are today. Congrats to all the teams whether you made the playoffs or not.
Get out and see a game this Friday night. It’s gonna be good.
