It was a back and forth battle in Gallatin, Tennessee as two district rivals clashed with both teams coming off loses from the previous week. The game went down to the final position as Wilson Central took home their third win of the season 25-21. while Gallatin has lost its third game in a row.

Wildcats Quarterback Tristan Lewis was 9/16 for 98 yards with one touchdown and one interception while Zavier Ali had 22 carries, 213 yards and two touchdowns. Daniel Phillips led the Green Wave with four receptions for 74 yards and one touchdown.

Head Coach for Gallatin, Chad Watson said “there was a lot of mistakes made in this game that we need to clean up and get ready for next week.”

Gallatin is now (5-3) as they prepare for Henry County next Friday while Wilson Central is now (3-3) and will play Hendersonville next Friday.
